What is it?

The objective of Strategic and Organizational Consulting is to accompany and advise companies in order to create sustained value. Strategic consulting allows defining the strategic direction of the business and aligning the efforts of the different areas of the company to fulfill its mission and achieve its objectives and goals.

ISDEC provides the capacity of analysis, diagnosis and methodological tools to formulate and implement strategies in order to increase revenues, improve efficiency and manage the growing expectations of its main stakeholders, both human capital and organizational, enhancing the fulfillment of the mission-vision-goal.

Methodology.

Strategy implementation: McKinsey’s 7S’s. The scheme reflects the different factors that affect the success or failure of the strategic process.

Style: Style refers to the culture of the organization. Normally, it is the top management who establishes a model of behavior, and sets an example to the lower layers of the company. It becomes the face of the company.

Staff: Employees are the backbone of any organization and one of its most important assets. Human resources must be strategy oriented.

Systems: Includes the internal processes that define the operating parameters of the company and the information systems are the channels through which the information flows. Processes and information can be compared to blood flowing through a body.

Strategy: The way to organize and focus resources, to achieve the objectives of the organization. We could compare it to the brain of an organization.

Structure: The way in which the different variables are organized, related and interact as business units. They can be departmental, geographic, management (centralized or decentralized). Legal formulas for collaborators (companies, joint-venture …), formulas for expansion (franchise, organic, mergers …), hierarchical organization (centralized or decentralized), human resources (pyramidal or flat structure) and a long etcetera.

Skills: It refers to the skills and abilities required by the members of the organization. It’s what Michael Porter calls Core Competencies. It can also refer to know-how.

Shared Values: Shared values ​​are the heart of the company. What unites its members and aligns all of them in the same direction.

Advantages: Interconnected factors: it is difficult for one of them to achieve significant results without the other factors also improving their results.
